It had flesh like a mountain, countless limbs, an endless expanse of pale flesh, and a terrible maw capable of swallowing entire Citadels. A sea of black, fetid blood surrounded the ghastly behemoth, soaking the barren land and forming a dark, motionless lake.^[1]

• Mordret revealed that he had killed Desolation by luring it into his Mirror Realm, allowing him to kill it without destroying half of the planet. He described the killing itself as quite unpleasant.^[1]
