Yalsten had long been a small, secluded world — a hidden jewel with few doors in or out. For generations, it stood as a paradise. A sanctuary of knowledge and peace, untouched by war, unshaken by conflict. Its people were united beneath a single banner — that of Yal, the Creator, whose name the planet bore with reverence.
They tended to the land with care, cultivated its gifts, and trained in discipline, not for conquest, but in devotion. All was done in accordance with Yals' will. In obedience, they thrived.
But paradise, as history so often proves, is a fleeting thing.
The harmony could not last.
