She was a Pathfinder—an evolved class of Archer—who had specialized in a rare form of magic purchased early from the tutorial store. Her signature skill was the creation of magical sigils, which she could imprint on people and objects to track them across vast distances. At first, it seemed benign—an advanced scouting utility, similar in concept to Miranda’s Verdant Mark. But hers went further: she could see through the eyes of those she marked.
Naturally, she became one of Sanctdomo’s premier scouts. Her sigils were everywhere—unobtrusive, subtle, and easy to dismiss. No one questioned them. Over time, she marked hundreds of people. With mastery came evolution: her magic grew more invasive. She no longer needed consent. The marks became invisible and undetectable. The moment they activated, she was there—living through the senses of others.
That was when the real problem started.
She became addicted—to the sensation, the control, the intimacy. She began following lives in detail, inhabiting the experiences of strangers. One man in particular caught her interest: a party member, cheerful and kind. They worked well together. She thought it meant something. But when they returned from their mission and she looked deeper… she saw the truth. A wife. Children. A happy, ordinary life. One she wasn’t part of.
So she destroyed it.
She murdered his family, believing it would free him for her. But when he shattered under the grief, no longer the man she’d adored, she moved on.
Nine more times.
Within a month, six wives, three girlfriends, and fifteen children were dead. She had a type—men who had everything. Men with warmth, purpose, love. She wanted to become part of their world, and when she couldn’t, she dismantled it.
When she began stalking her tenth target, the pattern was finally recognized. She was captured.
The investigation that followed uncovered a grim history. Before the System, she had already been locked up—a serial stalker with a record of escalating violence. The System didn’t corrupt her. It simply gave her the tools to become her truest self.
After Sultan brought her to Haven, Miranda released her from her contract but she opted to stay with him. They entered the Treasure Hunt together.
