Ibak

Ibak is a minor character in Mother of Learning, appearing in a single chapter. He is a translator able to translate from sulrothum gesture language they use to communicate with outsiders, and even can understand some of their "native clicking and buzzing".^[1]

He is not a mage as sulrothum find it hard to distinguish spell chants from conversation and are thus wary of mages.^[1]

He only agreed to work for Zach and Zorian after Neolu's family vouched for them.^[1]
