Altazia's Central Valley

The most prominent and inhabited region of Altazia. It's the most densely populated and developed part of the continent. Practically speaking, this area was the heartland of the Old Alliance and if any of the Splinter States managed to conquer it they could steamroll all other opposition on the continent and become the leader of a new Alliance. ^[1]

The best contenders for this are Eldemar, Falkrinea and Sulamnon, while the other countries located in this region are considered Splinter States and too weak to do anything substantial to the major powers of the region.

Geographically, the Central Valley is a plain surrounded by hills and mountains on the northwest and southeast, the Ishekatara Sea to the southwest, and the ocean to the northeast. Towards the northwest, there's also the Great Northern Forest, which is located in the northern hills and mountains.
