Dreams were a strange place that did not adhere to the logic of the real world and were always flowing, always changing.[1]

Characteristics

  • Traveling to a dream was a bit like traveling to the Dream Realm, but also different.[1]
  • The more powerful a dreamer was, the more solid they sometimes appeared.[1]
  • Dreams were dangerous for Dreamwalkers because the threats contained within might not have been real, but by invading the subliminal space, the uninvited guests had to treat them as such.[1]
This is the reason Nightmare often returned wounded from his travels. If an Ascended dreamt of a powerful abomination, the dark destrier had to battle the abomination as if it was real. However, not only fiends posed a threat. His opponents were empowered by the dream itself. Their shape depend on the strength of the dreamer.[1]
  • Mundane human and Masters can have and see actual dreams.[2]
