Black Millipede Tribe is a massive tide of monstrous, chitin-covered millipedes rises from the depths of the Burned Forest.[1]

Description

A massive tide of monstrous millipedes from the depths of the Burned Forest, ranging in size from several to dozens of meters and their bodies covered by glossy black chitin. These creatures are all Corrupted Beasts, with many reaching Great Rank and beyond. Among them are Monsters, Demons, Devils, and elusive Tyrants with distinctive, colorful carapaces that stood out with vibrant colors and chilling patterns — the leaders of this swarm.[1]

It consisted of an endless sea of Corrupted Nightmare Creatures, including six Great Tyrants and a deadly retinue of powerful champions such as Great Devils and enormous Demons, whose glossy black chitin was decorated with vivid and eerie patterns. The tribe also included Monsters, some of them dozens of meters long.[2]

Chapter Appeared Description
1796 [Corrupted Beast].
A black giant millipede that possessed a three meters long armored body and as wide as an adult man's torso. It had a human-like mouth full of sharp needle-like fangs instead of a pair of mandibles.[3]
2577 The champions of the Black Millipede tribe were part of a deadly retinue of powerful elites that accompanied the six Great Tyrants. These champions consisted of Great Devils and enormous Demons alike, forming a fearsome group within the tribe's forces. Their bodies were described as having glossy black chitin decorated with vivid and eerie patterns. They fought among a vast swarm of Corrupted Nightmare Creatures, supported by other abominations such as Monsters, some of them dozens of meters long.[2]
2285 The Millipede Queen (or Ember Queen[4]) was at least a hundred meters long, her segmented body quite thin in relation to its great length.[5]

A Great Tyrant was leading the swarm of black millipedes. They existed in a strange ambiguous state. These Millipede Queens existed between two moments in time — not entirely in the present. This made them nearly impossible to kill, as they were never fully there. In addition, they were enormous, encase in a carapace of impenetrable chitin, capable of spawning endless offspring, and safely hidden in fortified hives.[6]

Ember Queen could only command members of her tribe.[7]

Trivia

  • In Chapter 2579, the Black Millipedes suffered their first defeat. It took Sunny more than a year to defeat them on battlefield and week to bring them close to extinction.[8][9] The last millipede queen flee from the Burned Forest.[9]
