Article contents
The Undying General is a divine general from the Ghostlands, working directly under The Blightfather. He is the highest-ranking general in the entire Risen faction,[1] so fearsome that Inmortau sends him to any conflict in which victory is essential. His mere appearance on the battlefield strikes fear into the hearts of any who stood in opposition to the Undying Army.
The General commands legions of gods in the never-ending war against the Holy Church and is a true menace on the battlefield, even battling the Holy Mother herself occasionally. Despite being a Primordial, even she failed to slay him for good.
His abilities include being able to survive nearly anything, leading armies, and empowering his fighters while also borrowing their power as his own.[1] He also wields a monstrous artifact known as the "Undying Banner".
As a mortal he was an incredibly powerful necromancer and a Transcendent.
Appearance in Nevermore
The Undying General is one of the seven Champions Jake faced in the Coliseum of Mortals. In the arena, he wore heavy, ivory white armor with black patterns across it and an antler-horned helmet that gave off a death aura. He wielded a black, long-handled hammer that featured a medium-sized head with one side blunt and the other a sharp pick. He spoke with a deep voice, slightly distorted by his helmet, his voice calm but ancient.[2]
He refers to himself as a Death Knight which Jake notes is a paladin of the undead race.
