Dryad

A part-human, part-plant lifeform.

An obvious weakness of any kind of manipulation-based class was a lack of whatever they specialized in manipulating. They would try to shore up this weakness by being able to summon some of their element of choice, but this obviously came with some drawbacks, including highly increased resource consumption. But what happened when bringing the element meant bringing your own body? Well, you would have someone like Dina.

As a dryad, her way of leveling passively included “taking roots” and sitting still for a few centuries.

Her race levels were slow because she was a dryad, a long-lived creature who also grew naturally, albeit at a far slower pace. One of her racial skills literally allowed her to merge with a powerful tree and sleep within it for potentially thousands of years to get a few levels.
