Article contents
Kilnfather is an elder fire elemental that lives in a fairly famous cave system surrounding an ancient volcano in the mountains of Southern Altazia. He has "children" that he cares for very much, and will be deeply offended and hostile towards anyone that hurts them, regardless of the circumstances. So long as his "children" are unharmed, he is fairly friendly towards humans and will agree to talk with them[1].
He spends his time experimenting on lizards to try and turn them into his kindred, by imbuing them with his spirit essence[2].
Appearance
Kilnfather looks like a giant gecko made out of cooling lava. He is black, with cracked skin that pulses with inner fire, dimming and brightening in a regular rhythm. His eyes are big, yellow, slitted and shining. He modeled his look after his creations, so his children seem like tiny copies of him, although they are actual living beings and not elementals.[1]
